The Bernard Estate - Old Metairie, Louisiana
The collections of two generations are combined here in one home, because as it happened, the late Susan Bernard, lived in and kept her parents home intact up until the time of her passing in early 2025. Thus the estate of Mr. & Mrs. Peter L. Bernard, along with their daughter Susan, is now offered. Peter Bernard was a notable local attorney, an avid sportsman, and an illustrious Freemason, rising to serve as Grand Master for the Grand Lodge of the State of Louisiana. Peter's wife Jeanne Bernard, set a lovely table, and loved fine fashion. Together, they were world travelers, and brought many treasures home. Their daughter, Susan, was notably involved in the local Rose Society and a boutique owner offering jewelry and whimsical decor objects. Up for auction here is an eclectic mix of antique and high quality furniture from chairs, desks, tables, curios, and cabinets. There's art ranging from antique portraiture to framed Audubon prints and art of Oriental, local, and whimsical flair. So BROWSE, BID, WIN!
